We spent one night in the family room on the top floor while travelling through. A magnificent view, we were able to enjoy the sunrise over the sea directly from the room. We found the crockery and cutlery in the room very good. Check-in and check-out are easy and contactless, so we were able to leave early in the morning.
We have had a lovely weekend in Deal. The Clarendon Hotel, located right by the beach was great. Everything was made so easy. From the email communications before we arrived, to the easiest parking, right behind the hotel, to the security given, to enable the self check-in. The hotel staff checked on us, while we were there, to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in The Addelam Suite. The room was really large. The bed was so comfortable, we slept like babies! Lovely shower. Massive TV. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Everything was perfect. Can’t wait to go back and stay again. Thank you, Clarendon.
Only stayed for one night, I pulled up and my immediate thought was less than impressed from the outside, but the room was a very pleasant surprise, spacious and clean, and extremely good value. It had everything you need including quality coffee, my only gripe was I had to stoop to use the shower. Overall it was a pleasant stay for a very cheap price, and I would happily book this hotel when I’m next in the area.
We recently spent one night in the family room on the top floor. Comfortable with fridge, kettle, microwave etc no complaints. However to get to the room you have to traverse up two narrow, steep, spiral staircases. We only had hand luggage but a family with, say, a large suitcase would struggle unless you've been working out in the gym. Also we didn't expect there to be no reception after 5pm however when we phoned the out of hours number we did get a callback straightway. Good location opposite Deal pier.
We stayed in the Smugglers cabin as a family and it was a wonderful suit. We had everything we needed plus more. I was really surprised with how much the room offered. With a toddler it was perfect. The beach was directly outside so you can't get better than that and the staff were fantastic and friendly. I would 100% recommend this to friends and family. Just to mention the street outside was closed for road works so the traffic was very quiet because of that. We also stayed in Feb/March so out of season.
